Hello, Dear One! I hope you are having a lovely day!
Just stopping by to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day AND wondering how you will observe it/ celebrate it.
If you are lucky enough to have a special someone in your life, do you want to be wined and dined? Or do you expect roses and a box of chocolates?
Although I like all of the above, the time to go out to dinner is not on
Valentine's Day. Knowing some people in the restaurant business, this is their worst nightmare. Why? Because it will be extremely crowded and there are so many "special" requests.
We will celebrate our love but in a more quiet way, I hope.

Have a wonderful week and may God bless you richly!

Happy Valentine's Day Charlotte! We always dine at home since the crowds are horrendous. We'll probably just exchange cards, which reminds me that I need to get one today. Hope it's not too picked over!
You're my kind of Gal!! Home where it's nice and quiet and chocolates at half price!!
We usually have lobster --- but since we just had that for our anniversary, we're going to a Bed and Breakfast this weekend in Thomaston - down outside of Forsyth. NOT romantic as Danny says!! I'll tell you why later!
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day Charlotte and Happy Ash Wednesday!xoxoxo
Happy Valentine's Day, my friend.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Happy V Day to you as well; I'm not celebrating, just keeping warm and everyone fed -grin-.
Happy Valentine's Charlotte! Enjoy your together time and that day-old chocolate!
I think you have the right idea with Valentine's Day! sandie
Charlotte, thanks for stopping by. I love your Valentine's Day plans...it is kind of comical the older we get the more practical we become...lunch instead of dinner, 1/2 price candy the day after...made me giggle, I do the same thing!!
No dinner out tomorrow for us either and no triple priced flowers either.

happy valentine's day to you two. love the pup in your header. :)
Charlotte, we never celebrate Valentine's Day by going out because we celebrate all the time. Our day will be spent at home with lots of cards exchanged, a home cooked meal and an old films starring Cary Grant. And you are right about the chocolates being just as good the next day and less costly too, if there are any left. I saw lots of last minute shoppers clearing out shelves today. Hope your celebration was special.
I hope you had a lovely day, Charlotte.
I don't expect the flowers and chocolates but my hubby managed to have flowers delivered to me even though he is at the moment in Chile. So, I spent the day alone but visiting online friends. Thanks so much for stopping by. Always lovely to have you visit. :)
I hope you had a Happy quiet Valentine's Day.
And got lots of candy!
Hugs.
I hope you had a great Valentine's Day! Tom worked late, we had steak and salad and strawberries (no chocolate!) Just a quiet celebration.
Thanks for leaving a comment on my return. I will try not to feel like I have to blog if I'm just not into it! :D

We chose to stay home on Valentine's Day, too, and I cooked a special shrimp dish. We enjoy going out fairly often, but not on everyone else's special day -- too crowded!
