Count your blessings not your troubles

Hello Ducky! I hope your weekend got off to a good start and that you are happy today!

It happens to all of us. You get up to find a leak under the sink, the dryer is not drying any more, the dishwasher is not getting your dishes clean, your car breaks down. This is life.

Sometimes we have to spend money are things that just are not fun; like fixing a cracked and heaved driveway. And some repairs just seem unreasonable but you are stuck with no other choice. My husband explained that cement is expensive. Huh? It is concrete not gold.

I am thankful that we are able to pay for this repair although we could go on a last minute cruise on it. LOL

I would much rather spend my money on pretty things like:

My new fall wreath

Or:

Our new mat. We got it at Tuesday Morning for $20. I love a good deal!

Peace, love and joy to you my friend! I will leave you with a nice quote from Mother Theresa:

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”

God's Blessings

Hi darling friend! Can you believe that it is already Friday? The days fly by for me.

Yesterday was an overcast and drizzly day here in my part of Georgia. Stepping outside, I took a look around my front yard. I don't have any real knowledge of mushrooms except what I buy in the grocery store.

This toad stool or mushroom is huge, about 8 inches across. It was growing in some wood chips, which is what mushrooms like best. Of course, I would not eat it. It could be poison.
But is is a rather pretty display, don't you think?

And right beside this big mushroom were these babies:

I almost missed them. The biggest one is about 1 inch across.

Moving to the side of the house i spied these:

We will be having cabbage after all. I thought the critters had done away with it. And here are two surprise volunteers:

Just one lone sunflower. But to me it is a gift from God.

Coming back towards my front door, i saw this one gardenia bloom with rain drops on it.

And this rose bloom:

God is so good to me. I do not live in a black and white world, which is all i deserve. He left me in this world full of color and beauty.

I hope that you find some beauty and color in your life.

Have a wonderful weekend! I thank God for you !

Peace and love,
