Kim Klassen and Texture Tuesday

My sweet neighbor, Jan, let me cut some of her Oak Leaf Hydranges to photograph.I will post them in a day or two. They are just the lovelist of all the hydrangeas to me....well, one of them. I do love hydrangeas, in all colors and they bloom so prolifically...like almost from spring through the summer. They make an excellent cut flower and last a fairly long while.
This humble hydrangea is from my backyard. My recipe was "Sweetreat" at 24%, "Warmly Vintage" at 25% and  "KK Trust" at 24%.
I can't wait to see everyone's entries this week!

This reminds me of a dreamy summer afternoon on an old porch. I love how the focus softens around the flower.

This is wonderful! So delicate and beautiful. Each spring, I hope that my hardy hydrangea will grow again. I planted a new one last fall, so I'm curious about it.

beautiful photo, a person can't go wrong with a hydranea! i've been babying my hydrangea twig for 4 years, but it didn't make it through this past winter...not an alaskan dweller i guess...
