Lunch at Brio's

My sweet husband and I were asked to assist as ushers at the ordinations of 3 priests at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta last month. It was a joy and a privilege to be there. Since I was working, I didn't have a chance to take photos with my good camera. So...no pictures of the church.
Since we  had been on our feet for quite a long time (several hours) we were all exhausted at the end. It was a surprise when we were told that lunch reservations had been made for the eight of us at Brio's. We were tempted to just beg off and go home to rest before our ushering at St. Catherine's.

Please excuse these photos taken with my cell phone.

We had a delightful lunch....so delicious and the ambiance was wonderful.

Citrus Garden Salad

Fresh linguine tossed with spinach, peppers, carrots, scallions, basil, cilantro, dried cranberries, candied pecans, lemon vinaigrette and topped with a spicy citrus glaze.
9.95 Add Chicken or Shrimp - 12.25

This was the best salad I have ever had in my life. And there was crusty bread and butter on the table too.

Grilled Chicken Club

Applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, Provolone and roasted tomato mayonnaise 11.95

This is what my husband, Jim, ordered.

Sliced Steak Bruschetta*

With Gorgonzola Dolce, arugula, fennel, charred tomato, Parmigiano-Reggiano and Tuscan Italian dressing 12.75

I didn't get pictures of everyone's dishes but they all were so attractively presented.
Maureen, what was that? It sure looks good!

View from our table.
Outside, we waited for valet to bring us our cars. It was lovely. Thanks, Gary and Diane!

Sounds wonderful! All the food looks delish. Don't apologize for using your cell phone for photos. I've heard that it's slowly replacing the point and shoot camera since everyone has a cell phone and it's so convenient. I think you did great!

The dishes all look divine! At least you remembered to take the pic before it was as gone, as I'm apt to do!

I have never been there and it looks like you do not go away hungry. The salad would be something I would try.

God bless your day.
