Can someone out there please tell me what is the purpose of this bra strap being open on one end?
It is not have a slide on the top so it can't be for strapless wear. Just on the back.
I just had to show you what I mean. See how it detaches on the back?
I will be walking in a public place and all of a sudden my bra strap is flapping out of my shirt sleeve. Not being a fan of showing underwear in public, as some are wont to do, it is very annoying.
There ...I said my peace. Now go back to whatever you were doing. :o)

They are called "wardrobe malfunction" bras. Obviously you didn't read the fine print!!

I have to change now from laughter... Hey, set a new trend gal... that is how to do it.
It’s because if you want to cross the straps in back you can.
But long ago I remember those being made like that but I have not seen that style of bra on me for eons... the do not make them in my size now. Once you a boulder holder at my age all prettiness is out the window.
Grrr, that is "once you wear" a boulder holder...
This is funny!
Does the bra have little folded strips that that slides?
Charlotte, if I am understanding, I think this is for a halter top/dress. Those slides hook around your neck.
xo.
You crack me up! I have no idea why it would be like that. Must be some alternate purpose for it. What I hate about bras these days is they moved the adjuster to the back. I like it in the front because mine always need adjusting! It's gravity's fault!
I will say this is my favorite color. sandie
Well, there is that fad of wearing trampy shirts with bra straps hanging out....maybe this is just saving some time.
Very funny! I detest those little strappy straps anyway. I don't have much to work with, but they are still annoying! Thanks for the laugh!
I am pretty sure that bras were invented just to torture us so the strapes coming apart is just one more way to drive us nuts.
