Rainy Days and Mondays

Hi Sweet Friends! Raise your hand if you love Mondays. No one? Maybe it's because of long held impressions of the end of the weekend and you haven't completed your homework or you have to (sigh) go back to work to a job you hate.

I am fortunate in that I am retired and don't have a set schedule. But I still have those same feelings as you may have. So how do I overcome the Monday Blues? I went to lunch with my darling husband at Ted's Montana Grill.

After a perfect lunch of a Bison Burger atop a myriad (bet you didn't know I knew a big word like that, did you?) of greens, bacon and cheddar cheese, we headed to the movie theater to see " Beasts of the Southern Wild". It sure took my mind off of my own self.
It is a story about love and survival. That is all I will say. Here is the trailer if you care to watch:

Have a lovely week! I will catch up with your blog this week! Peace and Love!

Darn, I couldn't get the trailer to load for me. I'll take your word for it though. Hubby and I have been looking for a worthwhile movie to see. Thank you!

Yes, retirement is great and we've been "working" at enjoying it for over 10 years! Never thing about getting down on a Monday since I have my choice of any other day. I have heard of the film, but we don't live close to a movie theatre, so will need to wait for Netflix...one day.
