Sad day

Disclaimer:If you are an Obama supporter and voted for him, do not read any further.

Friends, I am in deep mourning today as I realized that Romney was defeated. It was never really clear to me why there was any question about the failure of Obama to lead this country. What were the voters thinking?

My heart breaks for Mitt and his family. He is such a good, moral and God fearing man and had so much promise for our country to return to the ways of our founding fathers. We are on the road to socialism and communism.

It probably should be no surprise to me in a way since so many have turned from God. We have a secular world view now. No wonder God has given in to man and has allowed them to choose evil. We are in big trouble. God help us.

"Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be overthrown, our present republican forms of government and all the blessings which flow from them, must fail with them."

  Jedediah Morse, 1799

"But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children, to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments. The LORD has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all."

 Ps. 103: 17-19

I do not have the heart to post anymore. Maybe I will change my mind but I have other things taking up my energy.

My thoughts and prayers are for all of you and I will continue to read and make comments occasionally on your blogs.

God bless you!

May the peace of Jesus be with you today and always!

I'm very afraid of what the future holds for our country.

It wasn't the outcome I hoped for, that's for sure, and I admit, I was a little surprised, considering the state of the economy. But I'm going to have faith, after all the prayers that were said, that this is just part of the plan even if we don't understand. I'll continue to have faith and be vigilant and pray that our country doesn't stay divided. Hope you don't stop blogging long!

Hugs Charlotte.
I have appreciated so much the emails and the friendship I've felt with you. Don't stop doing what you do.
Speaking with faith, blogging about faith and beauty and being so kind.
You are wonderful and have so much to share.
The Lord is very aware of our country.
There are MANY wonderful people in it still....like you.

I think many feel the same way, it was a shock seeing how bad things are. How do we pray for a country that leaves GOD out of it. The bible says if we reject GOD, He will reject us. Maybe that is why we are in the shape we are in.

I will keep praying that the Lord comes soon for us.

That election took it out of us, didn't it? There is nothing for us to do but pray and put our hope in God. Don't stop blogging because the world needs encouragement right now and I always feel encouraged when you post something. Especially when you blog about your faith. Hugs, Charlotte!

Take a break Charlotte...but don't Stop! I practically had to peel my hubby off the floor when we saw the results! Yes, it's heartbreaking but "they" now Own it!
We have not watched the news in days...trying to calm down and re-evaluate. Heard about Patraeus just last night...oh well, just another tactic to try to stop him being called to testify...won't work.
The Main thing is this...We All know how the story Ends...Good trumps evil in the end. The Main thing for us? LIVE each and every day with Joy and expectations for our Promised future. We Win in the end sweet friend...How joyous is That?!! I'll continue to blog, facebook and tweet with messages of Hope. People are starving for Someone to keep passing words of encouragement...Jesus fought to the bitter end...so why wouldn't we.
The day is Beautiful outside, Fall is here in all it's glory...It would be a shame to no longer see your beautiful photos of it all unfolding!
Sending you Tons of Love and Happiness!!
(((HUG)))
