Sraining here!

Hello Everyone! How in the world are you??

It has been a while since I have blogged. And when you have been away from something for this long....well you forget how to do everything. It is really like starting all over again.

It has been sraining here in Kennesaw, Georgia. My new word for snow/rain. When it snows in the south, we shut down. Since it is such a rarity, the state hasn't invested in snow plows and other equipment.

Remember snow days? When we could stay home from school, go sledding in the back yard and come in for cookies and hot cocoa? That is exactly how it feels today. Jim, my husband, has been keeping our fire place blazing since early morn. So we are warm and toasty. Hope you are too.

The weather reports that the conditions will worsen tomorrow as we get more snow (srain) and it freezes on the roadways. Also many may lose power. Please pray for the safety of everyone, especially the young and elderly.

Does anyone know how to center my header??? I can't figure it out to save my life.

Hugs to you!

Pax Christi,

I rarely change anything on my blog because I can't fix it if it is wrong. I know photography fairly well, but get by on very little knowledge about blogging. Ha! You mentioned getting a new lens...mine is a 300mm on a cropped sensor camera. I wish I had gotten a longer one...go for it!

Charlotte, I have NO clue how to do most anything on a blog. I keep asking for someone to hire and, thus far, no one steps to the forefront. You might get slammed with this storm, be safe and prepare as much as possible.

Good to see you post! I have miss seeing you pop up. I will be praying for you guys there, we are to get hit hard so I will be staying up late and watching the house while Hubby sleeps. Do you have all your batteries and lanterns ready? We have here and then some. Praying if the lights do go out they are not out for long. AND the trees stay standing and not hit the house.

I tired to tell you here in this comment but it wont let me leave the comment with the HTML code present. I will email you.
Praying for you guys and for that matter all of us.

LOVE your new word, think Webster's will add it to their book?

Well, hello there! So good to see you blogging again. I hope and pray that you all do not lose power. Boy, this has been some winter. Even as far south as we are our fireplace has been running non-stop since December. Last year I was in shorts and flip-flops at this time. So great to see you back and hope you will continue to post. Sorry, I do not know how to center the header!

Charlotte, what a nice surprise to click on your blog and find a new post. And, it was also kind of you to leave a comment on one of our recent posts, thanks! I have forgotten so many things and sorry that I can't help with the header issue. Some folks change their headers quite often, but I just leave mine as it. Perhaps another blogger will have a solution soon.
Welcome back..you have been missed!

So good to hear from you, Charlotte! Here in Austin, we're pretty much the same - shut down for a threat of a snowflake. But with good reason! I've been keeping all of you in my prayers. Be safe!
