Oak Leaf Hydrangeas

Here is a close of up my neighbor's Oakleaf Hydrangea. It is one of the most beautiful specimens I have ever seen. And I must have one....or two or three. But I must be patient. I am going to root them from her shrub. Here is a site that tells how to do it: http://www.hydrangeashydrangeas.com/propagation.html
It is really pretty simple and if you root a number of pieces, your chances go up for success. Think of the possibilities. Trade cuttings from friends and neighbors of hydrangeas, roses, gardenias....the list goes on. Get their permission first though. :o)

Blessings Friends!

Pretty shots Charlotte. I have my eye on a bush that didn't have any blooms last year but is covered this year. Think it has to do when it was cut back. Have a great Wednesday!

Gosh, I didn't know you could do such a thing! Now that I'm getting more into gardening, I may get brave and give this a try. Thanks for the info! Have a great day!
