Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with my good friend from North Carolina, Betty John. She stayed with her daughter's family but we met up for lunch one day. On Sunday, I met her daughter and two grand darlings at Smith Gilbert Gardens in Kennesaw.

And it was a hot, hot day! We tried to stick to the shade for comfort as well as good portrait light but it was still a scorcher. We traversed on paths over 16 acres of gorgeous, ponds, special gardens, flowers and statuary.
The girls were real troupers. They were really good models and listened to instruction.

These sisters couldn't be more unlike; one is fair and tall, the other dark eyed and olive skinned. Both lovely in their own styles and personalities.

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful series of portraits. These are sweet girls and so photogenic. I smiled thinking of you and Betty together, both of you with cameras in tow. Glad y'all had a good time!
