Bring back that loving feeling, please God

I am not sure when it happened. It was a gradual thing. Dear bloggers, has this happened to you? My one big passion for 3 years has been photography. I have loved all aspects of it from composing and shooting and editing the final product. Actually, I lived and breathed photography, day in and day out. This is disconcerting and depressing.

So, why does that happen? I sure don't have a clue. Of course,  i have picked up some other interests but none like taking pictures. Maybe it is like writer's block and will reappear some day. In the meantime, I will continue to read your blogs to get inspiration. Sigh....

But it is better to have loved and lost than never having loved at all. :o)

Peace, love and joy to you,

♥Charlotte

I find life very challenging right now. I was forced to sell my business before I was old enough to draw SS. I have it now, but now near enough to live on, so I am working 7 days a week in a little gift and antique shop I started. It is so depressing when all people say is, I'm just looking, when I am paying the rent, utilities and merchandise. Any how, I started blogging last Dec. and it has been a wonderful outlet for me. So, get back out that camera and take some pictures, weather you post them are not. Don't waste that talent. Richard from My Old Historic House.

Oh, Charlotte, I think this is a common feeling. From time to time I feel the same way about photography. Sometimes it's simply the daily grind of life, or problems with my kids, or some little thing that steals my joy. Mentally, I imagine myself out somewhere in nature, capturing all of God's beauty, and somehow the love comes flooding back and I start craving to shoot something. lol But not always! I hope it does return to you because I miss seeing your photos. Perhaps as Richard suggested, you just need to get out and start shooting again. (((hugs)))

Dear Charlotte,

Everyone goes through this from time to time. Allow yourself the space and distance from it, but don't dismiss it. It will come back, and I look forward to that time. Until then, I hope you will still be posting here because I enjoy your words as much as I do your photographs.

I go through this, too, with both my photography and my writing. Hang in there and allow yourself a break. I have no doubt you'll find inspiration again!

Oh Goodness Sweetheart! MOST of my photos are crap...but you know? We ALL need breaks once in a while. The economy is awful...our government is running wild while WE are left with SO much insecurity. It tends to overwhelm...Put a small point & Shoot in your pocket and start smiling...We're going to be Alright...(((HUG)))

Dear Charlotte, It will come back. Sometimes just a new subject to photograph is all you need. I went through this when taking pictures of flowers, my passion! Then one day it got old until I found birds, that got old and I found landscapes, and so on and so on, always with a pause in between. It will come back because it has to! You are to talented to let it go

I know the feeling well, sometimes we just burn out and need a break. I have a tendency to run my latest hobby into the ground till I am exhausted. The last time that happen the lord was speaking to me as I got carried away and forgot him. Even in Church, I would not be concentrating, my mind was elsewhere. The lord has a way of getting out attention.
Please keep in touch and pop in and post what you have been up to, maybe a different hobby perhaps?

God bless and keep you safe!
