Hello Friends!

Courtesy of The Graphics Fairy
Hello Sweetie Pies,

I can't believe that it is Saturday already and I haven't posted since Monday! Yikes! Where does the time go?

Since the doctor told me to exercise, I have been walking weekdays for 30 minutes. That really upsets my schedule. LOL But it is that, or taking some very expensive medicine. Since I am cheap frugal, I opted for the walking.

What have you been up to? I can't say that I have done much of anything that would be of interest to you. When life gets in the way, I don't save time for the fun things like taking photos.

But...I don't think I ever showed you my signs. Just for fun!

I did this sign of my blog  to put out on my deck. It was made on a piece of plywood. The letters were printed, then enlarged at FedEx to the size of my board. Transferred to the wood with graphite paper and then painted in with black paint.

This sign was stenciled onto a piece of painted plywood also.

Made this one for my husband with the same method as above.

Thanks for visiting!

 Stay tuned. XOXO

I admire your attention to doctor's orders. My week has been uneventful as well...just recovering from my trip to see my siblings. Isn't it sad to have to recuperate from a vacation?!

Charlotte, the blog sign for your deck is amazing!!
I absolutely love it. What a creative idea.

I am glad to hear you are taking your doctors advice. Once you work those 30 minutes into your schedule, you'll really feel like something is missing if you don't do it.

I hope you are having a great weekend!

I begrudge the time I spend working out, too, but do it for my health, just like you. It's a good investment, but I have to constantly remind myself it's just an hour, less than I spend reading blogs or (I confess) looking at Facebook or Pinterest! So good for you and keep at it!! I love your signs!! You are so creative!

I have had a rather uneventful week myself but sometimes that is a blessing. Love the signs.

Love your signs Charlotte!!
Your Be Happy sign is amazing. Must have taken such a long time for you to do this --- so neatly!! So you have one big stencil for this whole board? If that's the case - you could make several in different colors and even add flowers and vines all around the edges!! so much you can do with this!!
How special the sign for your husband! Nice!!!

What a cool idea! You are so talented with furniture, decorating and signs. My husband started walking 30 min. a day after his heart stents. He does NOT want to go thru that again. Good for you, Charlotte!

Charlotte, exercise can be hard to keep up with on a regular basis, but glad to hear you are following through. We get to the Y as much as 4-5 times a week and it feels great too. You commented that you had an uneventful week, but just being able to enjoy each day IS definitely an event, don't you think? Out eventful end on the week was a short getaway to Baltimore, MD to visits a trolley and train museum.
