Hi Friend! I hope you are having a good week!
Just wanted to show you what I have been doing lately. And no, I don't have any grandchildren on the way....that I know of.
My good friend next door will be a grand mother for the second time in October, God willing. And her daughter has consented to letting Tammy of http://simplesouthernhappiness.blogspot.com/ and I to photograph the new baby when it is really a newborn. As I understand it, you can get some amazing shots when the baby is under 10 days old.
Anyway, I have started to amass a few props. This is supposed to look like a grape. Do you think it does?
Now you would think that I, since I have been knitting since 3rd grade would have no problem, right? Au contraire, mon amis! Although I have knit a number of items over the years, I picked up the needles and was very awkward with them. Had to rip out 3 hats. But I say never give up! Today I finally finished it. What do you think? :o)
Peace and love to you!

Oh how I love this! I will be a grandma for the fourth time in February! Have been looking at knitting patterns! This is just adorable! Come with Tammy and all three of us can take photos! Got to go to MA though!
Wow in February at that! Great post and happy photographing! Just know the photos will be beautiful!
Looks like a purple grape! I tried my hand at simple knitting and was a dismal failure.
Can't wait to see the masterpieces by you and Tammy!
Well, it does indeed look like a grape! What a perfect little hat for the new arrival. How exciting that you and Tammy get to photograph a baby again!!! Can't wait to see the photos. I know the new parents are going to be pleased as punch with you two behind the lens.
I'd wear that adorable grape hat. Does it come in "big headed"?
Best,
Bonnie
I could see it being a grape! And you speak French?
That will be an adorable prop!
I look forward to seeing the pix!
I tell you, better hide this from Smuckers or they will want to squeeze to to make grape jam. TOOOOO darn cute for words. What a super prop this will be.
YES!! I made contact :-}}
Adorable Charlotte! Bet it's soft as can be! Can just imagine the adorable pictures that you and Tammy will make!
It does look like a grape, Charlotte! I think it's so wonderful that you can do that. I'm looking around to find some classes.
