A re-do and photo for Photo Feature Friday

A week ago I had an awesome photo shoot with a mother and her newborn baby boy. I say awesome because I just had the best time with everyone there.
I was anxious about it because I had no experience with photographing babies. And I have to admit, it was hard. Hard to find a good place with light. I finally had to use my on camera flash with a diffuser for many of the shots.
I edited some of the shots the next day and posted them here. But I was not totally happy with them.
Then I remembered Morgan Kervin's tutorial on using Rita's (Of CoffeeShopblog.com) Baby Powder Action. So I headed on over to Morgan's website and followed her lead. http://morgankervin.blogspot.com/2010/03/newborn-tutorial.html
Here is where you can get the free Baby Powder Action: http://www.thecoffeeshopblog.com/2009/11/coffeeshop-baby-powderroom-free-pspse.html

 Here are the re-edited photos:

Photo Feature Friday - White

I love this week's theme of "White". The pure, simplicity of white is very soothing to me in my world of color. Since my mother always chose beige in her decorating scheme, because "it goes with everything", I have rebelled, filling my home with brilliant rich colors mostly in deep reds and golds, patterns and solids.
Now that I am drawn to white, I have a bit of work to do. But I can take a step at a time in changing things out. Have you see the website: http://whiteironstonecottage.blogspot.com/  It is one of many websites that showcase white and some pastels in decorating.

Focus 52 "Feminine"

"Pink"

With this week's theme, "feminine" I had a little prompting from my friend, Betty John, AKA "Hootnonny".
She always has good ideas so she was sweet to help me. Decision making is hard for me. :o)
Can't wait to see what others have posted for this challenge.
Blessings to all who comment!
