Whispers of Love

Hello Duckies! Hope you are having a wonderful day! It is sunny and cool here in Georgia and I am loving it!

A few days ago, I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot with the most darling little baby girl. I brought along a little ballerina outfit that I had in my small collection of props. It was waiting for the perfect little person to wear it.

The moment her mom put it on her, her personality blossomed. She was WEARING the dress, if you know what I mean. All girly, is how I would describe it.

Her Mama just glowed with pride as you can see.

Can you believe that she is just a little over 1 year old? Look at those eyes!

She was fascinated with the satin flower attached to the front.

Why are babies so interested in their toes? LOL

A few Tulip Pictures

Hi sweet peeps! I sure hope you are having a good week so far! I am so enjoying this gorgeous weather. It is just so warm and wonderful. If you look outside my window, it is raining snowing pink petals from my huge cherry tree. And there is also a yellow haze of pollen all over the cars and patio furniture.  Not good for those with allergies.

I am having a ball editing photos that I took of some tulips that Katie's friend gave her recently. And I have fallen in love again with Flora Bella textures.

The birds are out singing in the morning sun.

A Kim Klassen texture was added here.

Peace, love and joy to you! See you next time!

My Old Window Frame

A while back, I remember someone posting using an old window like this one. She had a photo of her two girls, printed into a poster at Staples. Then she mounted it to the back of the window and hung it on her wall.

I guess I could have had a poster made at Staples, but it was Sunday and I really didn't want to leave the house. So I went to this site: Block Poster here

You will notice the places where I taped the pages together, 6 in all.

When I read the instructions the first time, I laid out regular sheets of 8.5 x 11 white paper onto my window frame. 6 sheets of paper, portrait orientation fit over it.

When I downloaded the PDF, i printed out the sheets and then taped them together.

My mistake: I should have made the block poster bigger so as to allow for a good fit.
When I placed it behind the window, the cow's head was covered by one of the pane frames. So when I do it again, I will know to make allowances.

And I will do it again and probably use card stock or cover stock for more durability.
Hope you have a fabulous week, friend!

What not to do and other things

Okay, Boys and Girls, listen up! Don't make the same mistake that I made here today! It is supposed to say "bee" kind.
Get it?
i have to laugh now, but I had gotten this far; with successfully printing mirror images on transfer paper. And then, I screwed up by putting the word upside down. It was a stupid mistake and you know what that transfer paper costs. Oh well. Live and learn.

And I didn't only make a mistake on one, but on two towels. Ha!
I think I will wander outside and take some flower photos. Maybe i will have better luck.

Please be kind. :o) I am using a close up filter without a tripod and it was a bit breezy. But I really kind of like the dreamy quality. Really it is out of focus. Ha! (Be real, Charlotte)

I just love Nandina berries and so do the birds!

This is the back of a daffodil...graceful.

Oh, you hussy! I don't know why I am calling it that. Ha!

Has spring made an appearance where you are? We hold our breath here in the south.
We get a taste of spring and then old man winter finally pops up and knocks every flower down. That's just the way it is. But I love the preview, don't you?

May the peace, love and joy of Jesus be with you today and always!
