What is the weather like in your neck of the woods? I hope that you are happy with it, whatever it is.
It seems that winter has decided not to come for a visit this year. All of our blossoms are putting on their show earlier than usual. So I took my new lens, a Tokina Macro 100 mm, F 2.8 and went in my front yard.
The camellia bushes are really loaded up right now with blossoms!
I didn't realize that having a close up lens would be more difficult to focus. I need lots of practice and maybe a small tripod would help. :o)
Look at the ruffles on this daffodil!
God is so good to us that He gave us so many different kinds of flowers; shapes and colors.
This Camellia is not fully open; isn't it pretty and colorful?!
Look at this volunteer grape hyacinth....isn't it a cutie pie? They are so tiny!
And this tiny vinca minor bloom.
Reminds me of angel wings...
Today as I was getting these photos ready, I rediscovered the photo filter setting on PSE 9.
It is really fun to use, to add a little zing to your pictures. Here is the screen print:
See the right hand side of the screen with the magenta box? That is where you can choose all kinds of colors and settings. It is fun!
This white Camellia has been edited with a blue filter:It doesn't really show up here, but there is a slight blue tinge.
