Sraining here!

Hello Everyone! How in the world are you??

It has been a while since I have blogged. And when you have been away from something for this long....well you forget how to do everything. It is really like starting all over again.

It has been sraining here in Kennesaw, Georgia. My new word for snow/rain. When it snows in the south, we shut down. Since it is such a rarity, the state hasn't invested in snow plows and other equipment.

Remember snow days? When we could stay home from school, go sledding in the back yard and come in for cookies and hot cocoa? That is exactly how it feels today. Jim, my husband, has been keeping our fire place blazing since early morn. So we are warm and toasty. Hope you are too.

The weather reports that the conditions will worsen tomorrow as we get more snow (srain) and it freezes on the roadways. Also many may lose power. Please pray for the safety of everyone, especially the young and elderly.

Does anyone know how to center my header??? I can't figure it out to save my life.

Hugs to you!

Pax Christi,

Happy Halloween!

Hi Sweet One! Just stopping by to wish you  a safe and Happy Halloween today! Better late than never, I always say.

We have been running errands all day. It seems like forever that I have had time for blogging and checking on other blogs. Jim is getting better day by day so I will probably have more time soon.

These pumpkin photos were taken when we were in Destin. This house had a nice selection on their doorstep.

Do you get a lot of trick or treaters? Our driveway is up a hill and most kids are not willing to make the trek. We buy lots of candy every year but no one showed up last year. So Jim eats it all. Well, I do take a few pieces....

This dog, also in Destin, caught my attention. He was not the least bit worried about me taking his picture. My dogs would have been through the window if someone was seen outside.

Peace, happiness and love of Jesus be with you today and always, my friend!
