White Wednesday

Did you ever wake up with a bad headache only to look in the drawer for the bottle of ibuprofen and find it empty? Rarely do I get a headache, for some reason....used to get some hum dingers when I was younger. Anyway, it got me off track for this whole day...nothing seemed to go as planned. You know how that is....like you are not all there in one piece. This too shall pass.

I almost forgot to post for this new PP, White Wednesday. I am anxious to see what everyone posts today.

I always get inspired when I see the photos from all over.

These were taken in my friend's backyard. Aren't they luscious? That is my word of the week: luscious.

Well, as Scarlett O'Hara said: "Tomorrow is another day."
Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Focus 52 - Blue

Sometimes life feels like being on roller coaster. I have been reading blogs that i follow and note that quite a few of us are tending to burn out. With so many cool Photo "parties" there is always a self-imposed deadline to meet. Recently Tricia of a Rosy Note, decided to end her "party" Photo Feature Friday, because of personal constraints. I can't blame her. I don't have the constitution to carry on that long.
Hey, this is supposed to be fun, not stress filled. :o)

So take it easy everyone and stop to smell the roses. I am so glad for each and everyone of you. It opens up my world to share my photos and thoughts and to see and read yours.

Does anyone know of any other fun "parties"?

Have a wonderful Sunday, y'all!

Photo Feature Friday - White

I love this week's theme of "White". The pure, simplicity of white is very soothing to me in my world of color. Since my mother always chose beige in her decorating scheme, because "it goes with everything", I have rebelled, filling my home with brilliant rich colors mostly in deep reds and golds, patterns and solids.
Now that I am drawn to white, I have a bit of work to do. But I can take a step at a time in changing things out. Have you see the website: http://whiteironstonecottage.blogspot.com/  It is one of many websites that showcase white and some pastels in decorating.

Kim Klassen and Texture Tuesday

My sweet neighbor, Jan, let me cut some of her Oak Leaf Hydranges to photograph.I will post them in a day or two. They are just the lovelist of all the hydrangeas to me....well, one of them. I do love hydrangeas, in all colors and they bloom so prolifically...like almost from spring through the summer. They make an excellent cut flower and last a fairly long while.
This humble hydrangea is from my backyard. My recipe was "Sweetreat" at 24%, "Warmly Vintage" at 25% and  "KK Trust" at 24%.
I can't wait to see everyone's entries this week!
