From the Reproaches of Good Friday
Today is Good Friday and I don't get the "good" part. I know that is is ultimately good that He died for our sins. But what a horrendous death. I might as well have hammered the nails in His precious hands and feet for my sins.
"We adore you, O Christ and we praise you. Because by your holy Cross You have redeemed the world."
